The Danish National IT and Telecom Agency appreciates that the parties working on WS-Federation did bring the specification into the OASIS standardization process.
Much work is needed to get better interoperability and harmonization among different identity/claim services.
The Danish government fully support initiatives working towards this goal in a open and transparent process. The Danish National IT and Telecom Agency see standardization of WS-Federation as an important step in bringing this work forward - especially in the area of SOAP-based web services.
On this basis the agency votes yes in support of approving WS-Federation 1.2 as an OASIS standard.
