The semantics for these types of objects need more definition, is this just a read-only object (from a user's point of view)? If the driver or token manages them, why do they need to be user-visible? Why is there a need for the value to be anything other than a boolean (standard object vs. token-managed read-only) if it's managed by the driver/token? I can see why the general concept would be useful, but things need to be nailed down a lot more.
