Comment:There is discussion on the "[PATCH 0/2] virtio-scsi: Implement FC_HOST feature" series upstream with Christoph Hellwig and Hannes Reinecke.
Can we wait until that has finished and the feature looks mergeable before accepting this virtio spec change? It would be a shame if we voted this in only to realize that the implementation is not workable.
Voting No for now. Will change vote later if the questions on the mailing list are resolved. |
