IONA has been lobbied on both sides of this vote, so it is a difficult choice.

I've decided to vote in favor after reading through the core specifications. I've noted the references to proprietary and evolving specifications, but the only required one of them is WS-Addressing. Although WS-Addressing is clearly evolving, in part due to IONA's own proposals in fact, I don't see a problem with how WSDM is using it.

The issues those voting no bring up are troubling and I would hope that a yes vote is not taken as an indication that we don't view them as important.

I realize OASIS process precludes modifying the document once it's a standard, but standards have versions as well and we would expect these problems to be fixed over time.
