About Symposium

Welcome!

Register now for the 2007 OASIS Symposium, which will be held 15-20 April 2007 at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley in California, USA. The week long event will include tutorials, exhibits, poster presentations, and informative workshops. In addition (and back by popular demand), the event will once again feature OASIS Technical Committee Lightning Rounds, a fast and fun way to track related work and make valuable connections.

The program will feature a keynote address from Bob Sutor of IBM, two tracks with sessions geared for both high-level and technical attendees, and several interactive panel discussions. All presentations will be geared to provide an assessment and preview of what emerging technologies and standards are likely to shape the future of eBusiness and eGovernment, as well new trends in developing publishing software.

The venue is the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, a landmark, resort-style hotel with a unique blend of Spanish accents and tropical landscaping. You'll want to plan time to experience the excitement of the Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town, SeaWorld, and many more San Diego attractions minutes from the hotel.

If you've never attended an OASIS Symposium, ask a member of the Program Committee why these once-a-year gatherings are so valuable.

We hope to see you in sunny San Diego!
