Sponsorship

In 2005, the Consortium will host two official events:

  • OASIS Symposium, New Orleans, 24-29 April
  • OASIS Adoption Forum, European city TBD, October

Each event will feature a unique program on open standards, tutorials, OASIS committees meetings, birds-of-a-feather gatherings, and a reception for attendees. The OASIS Symposium will also provide the venue for the Annual General Meeting of members.

OASIS relies on Event Sponsorship to provide funding necessary to maintain affordable meeting fees for the Symposium and Adoption Forum, ensuring the widest possible level of participation. OASIS Event Sponsors also underwrite the cost of OASIS Committee meetings, allowing members to collaborate face-to-face and Committees to interact with one another.
