In 2006/2007, the Consortium will host two official events:
OASIS Symposium in the Spring (US)
OASIS Adoption Forum in the Fall (Europe)
Each event will feature a unique program on open standards, OASIS committees meetings, birds-of-a-feather gatherings, and networking opportunities for attendees. OASIS relies on Event Sponsorship to provide funding necessary to maintain affordable meeting fees for the Adoption Forum and Symposium, ensuring the widest possible level of participation. OASIS Event Sponsors also underwrite the cost of OASIS Committee meetings, allowing members to collaborate face-to-face and Committees to interact with one another.
