Beth Pumo

Kaiser Permanente

Beth Pumo serves on the Board of Directors; her term extends through 2021. As a Principal with Kaiser Permanente on the Health Information Technology Strategy and Policy team, she leads their involvement in a range of health information technology (HIT) standards and regulatory/legislative activities. Beth’s educational background includes degrees in Biophysics, Computer Science, and a Master in Business Administration and she holds certifications from ISACA (CISA and CISM), ISC2 (CISSP), and the PCI Security Standards Council (PCIP). She is active participant in HL7, IEEE, and ISO committees in addition to a US-realm focus on several US government agency activities such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) for security guidance, regulation, and standards. Since joining OASIS, she has been focusing on the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF) Technical Committees.
