#PKCS #11 Cryptographic Token Interface Base Specification, Interface Profiles, Current Mechanisms Specification, and Historical Mechanisms Specification Versions 2.40 become OASIS Standards

OASIS is pleased to announce that PKCS #11 Cryptographic Token Interface Base Specification, Interface Profiles, Current Mechanisms Specification, and Historical Mechanisms Specification Versions 2.40 have been approved by the membership as OASIS Standards [1].

The call to vote was announced on 31 March 2015 [2] and the ballots closed on 14 April 2015. A minimum of 43 affirmative votes was needed for each in order to win approval. The finally vote tallies were 65 for PKCS #11 Cryptographic Token Interface Base Specification, 54 for KCS #11 Cryptographic Token Interface Profiles, 53 for PKCS #11 Cryptographic Token Interface Current Mechanisms Specification, and 53 for PKCS #11 Cryptographic Token Interface Historical Mechanisms Specification.

TC Administration will now prepare and publish the final OASIS Standards and notify members when they are available.
